About Spiritual Direction...
Maybe you have done spiritual direction before... maybe you are new to this... no matter your experience, I welcome you and want to share with you a bit about my understanding of spiritual direction.
  • Spiritual direction gives you the opportunity to nurture your own inner wisdom.
  • Though direction is in the name, the focus is on 'journeying with' you through grace and love.
  • Spiritual direction is a process of reflection and growth, of deepening awareness, heart awakening and gentle exploration.
  • Spiritual direction gives you the opportunity to be companied on your journey.
  • Life can be difficult and with the use of evocative questions, contemplative practices, deep listening and silence, I will accompany you with openness and receptivity to what you have to share. 
  • Together we can discern the movement of the sacred, the calling of your heart, the yearnings of your spirit as you travel the pathways and relationships of your life.​
  • While a spiritual director is not a therapist, friend, counselor or coach, you can expect that confidentiality will be kept in a non-judgmental space where guidelines for ethical conduct are followed.

What To Expect...

  • ​​When we meet you will have full agency and my full attention within a space that is quiet and without distractions.
  • We will talk about what you want to share in the ebb and flow of your life. What questions are weighing on you? What joys do you want to explore further? What struggles are tangled in your heart, soul, mind?
  • This can be a time to pause, wonder, explore...
  • Sessions last between 45 - 60 minutes, and usually are scheduled once a month. We can meet virtually or if you reside is south Florida we can meet in person.​
What is the Cost...
I offer a sliding scale that ranges from $35.00 - $80.00 per session.  You can decide what you would like to and are able to pay.  Currently, payments are made by check.  Further information will be shared at our first meeting. 

The first session had no fee as we get to know one another and explore if this is the right fit for you.

About Me...

I recently received my certification in Spiritual Direction from St. Catherine University in Minnesota and am continuing my studies by pursuing a Doctor of Ministry degree in the same area through United Theological Seminary, also located in Minnesota.

I am an ordained pastor in the United Church of Christ (UCC.)  I have served, over the last 20 years, as an associate pastor and Christian Education minister in Michigan, Arizona and Florida.  I love hearing people's stories and accompanying others in their discovery.

The UCC is open and affirming, meaning we welcome and invite every gender expression & identity, sexual orientation, race, ability, age, nationality, educational background, economic & social status, faith background, marital standing and family unit. I seek to live this out in every aspect of my ministry as I journey with others on life's path.

While I grew up in Connecticut, I currently live in south Florida, and I share my life with my spouse, two young adult daughters and two dogs. I love walking, chocolate and spending time in contemplation near water. And as a pastor, partner and parent, I find meeting with my own spiritual director to be a time of deep connection on my unique sacred journey.
